i went through the process of booking the van online. was quoted £69.99 but 10% off so £62.99......nice!
NOT!!!!! they then went on to add 20% VAT to bring the total to £75.58. NO mention of that anywhere but thought, ok i can live with that so confirmed the order for £75.58.
got the email comfirming the reservation with a new price of £160.99 + £33 VAT!
phoned them up straight away and they said theres no way it would show 2 different prices and i was wrong. i was having none of it and got the sales rep David to input the details himself and see the price. he left me on hold for 5mins then came back a bit sheepish and said to call the office the following morning to rectify because he couldn't do anything...WIERD??!!
i then read all these reviews and phoned my bank to block any payments to them or cancel my card before they could STEAL my money.
i then phoned them the next morning to say this was not on and would not be needing their services anymore and was told they would be charging me £33 as a cancellation fee.... the CHEEK! i explained to this rude rep what had happened and that i spoke to this 'David' and confirmed that it was wrong and spent another 15mins arguing with him, the same argument i had with David. this rude rep then said it doesn't matte who i spoke with because he was taking the money anyway because i confirmed the order. and if i took them to court or reported them to trading standards that i would be in the wrong because i 'confirmed' the order.
YES, i did confirm the order....FOR £75.58...... NOT £194 + £250 deposit!
THIEVES!!!
Steer well clear!!!
